Note: the original lyric in the chorus has a double meaning. It is both good to do and not do such a thing. In this rewrite, she’s “not blamin’ ” herself anymore for the wrongs in her life and relationship. Opposingly, she is now “blamin’ ” herself, but not in that way (as before) – she is “blamin’ ” herself for the good that has come.
